Verodial · Automatic GMT

Two time zones.
One glance.

A fourth hand, tipped in green, goes round the dial once every 24 hours. Read it against the 24-hour bezel and you have home time, while the main hands show where you are.

Pantheon Black

Automatic GMT watch with black dial, black 24-hour bezel and steel three-link bracelet, front view

The dial and the caseback carry the same rating: 10 bar / 100 m.

01 — The idea

Most watches make you do the maths

A three-hand watch tells one time. Cross a border, or work with a team six hours away, and you are adding and subtracting in your head.

A GMT solves it inside the movement: an extra hand geared to turn once a day instead of twice. That one hand is the reason the Pantheon exists.

02 — Design

Black, steel and one green line

The dial is black with large white-filled indices, a date window at 3 o'clock and a single colour accent: the green GMT hand.

Around it sits a black 24-hour bezel numbered every two hours, so the GMT hand always has a scale to read against.

Case and bracelet are 316L stainless steel. No subdials or pushers on the case, just the crown at 3 o'clock. The three-link bracelet runs straight into the case and closes on a fold-over steel clasp.

03 — Build

The movement is on show

Turn it over and the caseback is a window onto the automatic movement and the rotor that winds it. As you move your wrist, the rotor turns and winds the mainspring. There is no battery.

The supplier lists the movement as a Pearl DG5833 automatic GMT with a power reserve of around 48 hours, under a sapphire crystal.

  • Automatic movement, no battery to replace
  • Sapphire crystal over the dial
  • Exhibition caseback
  • Fold-over steel clasp

04 — Versatility

From the desk to the departure gate

At 40 mm across it suits most wrists. At 14 mm thick it is not a dress watch, and it doesn't try to be. The steel bracelet and black bezel take office days and weekends equally well.

Use the main hands for where you are and the green hand for home. On a call across time zones, you read both without unlocking your phone.

05 — The GMT

Reading the second time zone

The green hand points to the bezel's 24-hour scale. If it points at 14, it is 2 pm in your second zone. If it points at 2, it is 2 am.

That is what a 24-hour scale gives you: no am/pm guesswork, which a standard 12-hour dial can't avoid.

06 — The value

Where the price goes

What costs money here doesn't show up in a front photo: a fourth hand and the gearing that drives it, a sapphire crystal instead of mineral glass, and a caseback cut and glazed so the movement can be seen. The full specification is published below so you can check each one before you buy.

  • Automatic GMT movement, four hands and date
  • Sapphire crystal
  • 316L stainless steel case and bracelet
  • Free shipping, 30-day returns, Verodial Lifetime Guarantee

08 — Questions

Can I swim with it?

The dial and caseback are marked 10 bar / 100 m, which covers swimming and showering. It is not a certified dive watch, so don't take it diving. Push the crown fully home before it meets water, and never use it while the watch is wet.

Will the bracelet fit my wrist?

We haven't published the bracelet length or lug width because we don't yet have a measured figure we can stand behind. If you need it before ordering, contact us. If it doesn't fit, the 30-day return covers unworn pieces in their original packaging.

What if I don't wear it for a few days?

It's automatic, so wearing it keeps it wound. Off the wrist it runs for roughly 48 hours and then stops. Give it a gentle shake or put it back on, then reset the time and date.

Stock is limited for a plain reason: our supplier sells each batch to several retailers at once, so when it runs out, it runs out for everyone. Ships free with tracking in 5–20 business days.

Covered by the Verodial Lifetime Guarantee against manufacturing defects and movement faults under normal use. It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised repairs or normal cosmetic wear.

Not right for you? Return or exchange it unworn, in its original packaging, within 30 days.

Inspecting an automatic skeleton watch

Honest watches. Fair prices.

Verodial comes from two words: vero, meaning true, and dial, the face of a watch. That is the whole idea.

We search independent watchmakers for pieces with real specifications — automatic movements, sapphire crystal, solid steel — and bring them to you without the markup of a famous name on the dial. Every watch is chosen for what it is, not for the logo it carries.

Good design, honest materials and a fair price, delivered worldwide.
